That time of year again. I’ve tried multiple restarts, and it still won’t load. I’m not sure if/how to remove the beta profile at this point (that seems to have worked for previous betas), given that the beta settings are hidden.

iOS 26 added smoothness to CIRoundedRectangleGenerator, for use with CIFilter.roundedRectangleGenerator. What should the smoothness value be to achieve the same corner curve as CALayerCornerCurve.continuous? Does it need to be calculated based on the extent size, if so, how?
I'm running macOS 15.5. I now have Xcode 26 and I'm testing my iOS app against iOS 26. I've encountered several UIKit / iOS 26 bugs I'd like to report. In Feedback Assistant I choose "Developer Technologies & SDKs". Eventually I get asked "What build does the issue occur on?". The list of choices is:
iOS 18.2 Seed 4
iOS 18.1.1
iOS 17.7.2
An earlier iOS build
I'm not sure
So how to I report this as an iOS 26 beta 1 issue?
In the beta of Icon Composer, I see macOS, iOS, and watchOS icons, but there is nothing about visionOS and tvOS. Those icons are particularly hard and it would be great if this app worked for developing icons for all Apple platforms.
I tried asking this in a WWDC group lab, but they didn't get to it and suggested posting to the forum.
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to submit the first app for Beta Review to do Beta in Testflight, created a separate workflow for Beta Build and stuck at the step of filling in the "Information for Beta Review" form.
After filling in all the fields and clicking "Save" it just shows me an empty popup with "Close" button, and I see that request for https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/ci/api/teams//testflight/information-v2?product_id=ACTUAL_ID_REPLACED_HERE is failing with 404.
Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks and appreciate the help
I set iOS 26 to install overnight, put my iPhone 16 Pro on the MagSafe charger, watched it charge just fine, and went to sleep. When I woke up the iPhone showed the “plug into power” dead battery screen. I took it off MagSafe and put it back on. A half hour later the phone was warm but still wouldn’t power on, just showed the battery screen with a little red in it. I took it off MagSafe and plugged it into my iPad charging brick with USB cable to give it more power, still it did not turn on. I tried holding all the buttons to try to force a restart but didn’t work.
For anyone else encountering this, do this to enter DFU mode and restore it. I had to do it a few times before I got the timing right.
Plug into your Mac and open Finder (or apparently a PC with Apple Devices or iTunes)
Press and quickly release volume up
Press and quickly release volume down
Press and hold right side button
When the battery disappears and screen goes black, hold volume down and continue holding side button
After a couple seconds release the side button and continue holding volume down
A prompt to allow connecting to the iPhone should appear after a couple seconds, click Allow, and it’ll say the iPhone entered DFU mode - proceed to restore the firmware
It's not yet fully clear why and when does this crash occur, but I'm creating this post so there's a centralized thread for this.
Some hints collected so far:
The crash is occurring for existing Xcode projects opened with new Xcode 26.0 beta (17A5241e); no one's been able to reproduce on a project created in Xcode 26. I even tried creating a project with Xcode 16.2 and open it in Xcode 26, but it's all working fine there (don't have older Xcode at the moment, to try with many versions)
It crashes right at the line of code that initializes URLSessionConfiguration. If you call URLSession() without parameters (which is deprecated as of iOS 13), the session initializes without the crash.
It's NOT occurring only for libraries installed through package manages. In a project where it crashes, one should be able to reproduce by adding URLSessionConfiguration.default as the first line in didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
It crashes when running an app on an iOS 26 simulator. (I don't have a device running beta iOS 26 to test on it!) It's working fine when running the app on a simulator or a device running iOS 18 or older.

Sorry to not be able to provide more info at the moment. I wanted to report this so in case someone from Apple knows about it, we could at least get some feedback or workarounds, until fix is released -- and, to prevent us all from duplicating this report in repositories of each library, as this isn't related to libraries.
Hey, I cant can update or downgrade to a newer Version like IOS18.5
Can someone help me? And will Apple fix that?
I updated my iPhone to 26 and I just went to to to see if my iPhone was up to date I went and see but a came across this
I noticed on the Find My app in the new iOS 26 beta that the TabView and the sheet seem to be part of the same view. When you collapse the sheet, the TabView is still visible, and you can swipe up to view the sheet again. Is there a way to recreate this effect? Preferably in SwiftUI, but UIKit works too.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro. I downloaded the iOS 26 beta and had a SERIOUS error, rendering the phone unusable.
I charged it to 60% and kept it plugged in while updating.
While updating, I restarted several times at the Apple logo, then at the Welcome screen, and it had quite a few bugs with low battery warnings.
When I turned it on, I noticed I had 1% (I thought it was strange).
When it was plugged in, it wouldn't charge; it only had 1% left, and it also restarted every 2 minutes. Off-plugged, it did exactly the same thing.
In the end, I had to go back to iOS 18.5; I had no problems with this version.
Dear Developers,
I would like to suggest an optimization for the logic governing the download and installation queue for app updates.
Currently, when multiple applications are awaiting updates, the prioritization does not appear to consider the update payload size. My proposal is to implement a logic that prioritizes the download and installation of updates with a smaller delta size (fewer MB) before those with a larger delta.
Practical Example: A 1MB update would be processed before a 500MB update, even if their arrival order in the queue was inverted.
Potential Benefits:
Perceived Speed Optimization (UX): Users would gain access to functional applications more quickly, especially in scenarios with multiple pending updates.
Network Efficiency: In limited or intermittent bandwidth scenarios, completing smaller downloads first can reduce the chance of download failures and optimize network resource utilization.
Device Resource Management: Frees up temporary storage and processing resources more rapidly for smaller updates.
I believe this optimization would bring significant gains in terms of User Experience (UX) and the operational efficiency of the platform.
Thank you for your attention and consideration.
Sincerely,
Hello everyone,
I’d like to propose Sense & Store — a seamless integration between Safari and the App Store, powered by on-device AI, designed to understand what users are reading, searching, or selecting in Safari, and suggest relevant apps that match their current context or intention.
🔍 Key Idea:
“Sense” the user’s need through intelligent analysis of web content, then “Store” — offer the most relevant app, either already installed or available in the App Store.
🌟 Core Features:
• AI-powered context detection directly inside Safari
• Real-time app suggestions based on user intent
• Smart overlays when selecting text or data (e.g., phone numbers, emails, tools)
• Privacy-first: All AI runs on-device (Apple Neural Engine)
• Instant App Launch or Installation via StoreKit
✅ Examples:
• Reading an article on productivity? → Suggests Notion or Things.
• Looking up meditation tips? → Recommends Calm or Headspace.
• Selecting a phone number? → Offers CRM or spam blocker apps.
• Exploring code samples? → Suggests Pythonista or developer tools.
🔒 Privacy & Performance:
• 100% on-device intelligence (no data sent to servers)
• Follows Apple’s privacy framework
• Works with SafariKit + StoreKit + CoreML
⸻
I’m happy to provide a full prototype roadmap and technical architecture. Feedback and collaboration are welcome!
Would love to hear your thoughts — especially from developers who build for Safari, App Clips, or work with CoreML.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m facing a recurring issue with my macOS app being rejected during App Store review, and I’d really appreciate any guidance.
The subscription flow in my app is implemented using StoreKit, and everything works perfectly in our development environment using a StoreKit configuration file. It also behaves as expected in Sandbox testing and TestFlight — I even had few beta testers confirm that the subscription information is displayed correctly and the purchase flow completes without issues.
All required subscription details are configured in App Store Connect:
• Subscription duration and the description of the services offered
• Price and price per unit where applicable
• Paid apps agreement and related forms are correctly filled
However, when the app is submitted for review, the subscription screen fails to display the expected information. From what I can tell, the product information fails to load from the App Store in the review environment — even though everything is working fine on our side.
We’ve already submitted a video to Apple showing the subscription UI working in the Sandbox environment, but the app continues to be rejected under guideline 3.1.2 due to missing subscription info in the binary.
Is anyone else experiencing similar behavior during review? Could there be a caching issue or delay in StoreKit syncing for newly configured products?
Any help or suggestions are very welcome. Thanks in advance!
I submitted an App for TestFlight review in order to undertake a Public Beta program.
In the App Review Information I included notes for the review process, including
information that may be needed to test your app, such as app-specific settings and test registration or account details.
The above link says
You must provide the following information to App Review. It isn’t visible to customers.
However, the public beta site includes the Review Notes, including test credentials!
Is this a bug, or simply a misunderstanding on my part?
just updated macos to 15.5 beta 2, cannot login anymore!
i reach the login screen, i enter the correct password, the loading bar stops at around 10%, after about 1 minute the system restarts, it return to the login screens, and so on…
any suggestion about debugging this type of situation?
Our app supports live streaming (RTSP, RTMP, WebRTC) functionality.
After updating to the 18.5 Developer Beta version, we’ve encountered an issue where streaming over LTE is not working for customers using SKT (SK Telecom) as their carrier.
Upon investigation, it seems that a similar issue might be occurring with a streaming service app called "SOOP."
I would appreciate it if you could share any information regarding this bug.
Thank you.
Hello! 👋
I am noticing new failures in the iOS 18.5 Developer Beta build (22EF5042g) when calling the system call connect() (from C++ source, in network extension).
When using cell/mobile data (Mint & T-Mobile) this returns with EINTR (interrupted system call) right away. When I switch over to wifi, everything works fine.
Note: I have not tested on other mobile carriers; which could make a difference since T-Mobile/Mint are IPv6 networks.
FWIW, this is working in the previous developer beta (18.4).
Anyone have any ideas?
We've seen a spike in crashes on iOS 18.4 across both iPhone & iPad. We can't reproduce it, but it looks like it happens when the app goes into the background.
Crash Log
I discovered an issue where older Intel Macs (like my 2017 MacBook) enrolled in the macOS Sequoia Public Beta do not receive Ventura security updates, even though Sequoia is not compatible with the hardware.
My system said “macOS is up to date” while stuck on Ventura 13.7.1, but after switching to the Ventura Public Beta channel, it immediately showed a new update available.
This seems like a serious flaw—Apple should warn users or fall back to compatible OS versions when an enrolled beta is unsupported.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could be a widespread issue for Intel Mac users still relying on Ventura.
