No Response to Appeal – Developer Account at Risk

Hello,

I’m an individual developer who received a termination notice for my Apple Developer account almost 30 days ago. I have submitted multiple appeals through the official App Review Board form and follow-ups through Developer Support, but I haven’t received any response.

I’ve done everything possible to comply, including acknowledging any concerns raised and confirming that I will not repeat any mistakes. I’ve also stopped distribution of the app in question and committed to focus only on compliant development moving forward.

With the 30-day deadline approaching and no answer, I’m extremely concerned and frustrated. I’m asking here because I have no other channel left to get a human response or confirmation that my appeals are being reviewed.

I understand the importance of Apple’s rules, and I fully support fair enforcement. But complete silence in such a critical matter is very hard to handle for a small developer.

If anyone from Apple sees this, please help escalate the case or provide guidance. I just want a fair chance to continue working within the platform.

Thank you.

Dear App Review Board,

Thank you for your reply regarding the appeal of my Apple Developer Program membership termination.

However, I respectfully disagree with the outcome, which I believe to be unfair and inconsistent with standard review practices. I’d like to share several important clarifications:

  1. The flagged app’s style and metadata were revised multiple times to comply with Apple’s feedback. Each submission aimed to fully address the points raised by the Review Team.

  2. During the review process, I often received vague or unclear explanations for rejection, without concrete guidance on how to resolve the issue. This made it very difficult to comply efficiently, despite my full cooperation and intention to follow the guidelines.

  3. The app’s name was based on publicly visible patterns in the App Store. Similar app names using terms like “Mods” and “Minecraft” are widespread, even among developers with multiple apps on their accounts. My intention was never to mislead users - the naming reflected common conventions and popular search terms, not any deceptive behavior.

The decision to terminate the entire account - which includes long-standing, high-quality apps with no violations. I also believe it does not consider my transparent cooperation and willingness to correct any mistakes.

I respectfully ask you to reconsider this decision. I am ready to comply with any requirements, remove problematic content, and ensure full adherence to Apple’s policies. I’ve worked hard to build legitimate products and maintain user trust. I only ask for the opportunity to continue doing so.

Sincerely, Svetlana Zakharenko
