The answer of "apple" goes to guardrailViolation?

I have been using "apple" to test foundation models.

I thought this is local, but today the answer changed - half way through explanation, suddenly guardrailViolation error was activated! And yesterday, all reference to "Apple II", "Apple III" now refers me to consult apple.com!

Does foundation models connect to Internet for answer? Using beta 3.

The Foundation Models framework works completely on device, and does not connect to Internet.

The guardrails violation error on beta 3 was reported and discussed here. If your prompt works on Beta 2 but gets the error on Beta 3, I'd suggest that you follow the post to file an actionable feedback report using LanguageModelFeedbackAttachment.

It seems that Foundation Models framework in beta 3 got issues. As time goes along, more and more questions (that previously work in beta 3) got guardrailViolation errors. Now even "tell me a joke" got a guardrailViolation error!

The answer of "apple" goes to guardrailViolation?
