App not compatible with iPad model, but it is?
I’m having an issue with my published iPad app on the App Store where a selection of users (but not all) are finding they are unable to download my app on their iPad. The app recently was updated to support only devices Running iOS/iPadOS 17 and also added iPad support as HealthKit is available there now. The App Store listing correctly shows it as compatible but for some reasons user still see incompatibility messages. This makes no sense as the app has been full built and tested on iPad and a lot of users are using it fine. All the iPads in question are running ipadOS 17 too. I can only assume this is a bug but I thought I’d post here in case maybe I had an Xcode build setting wrong or something. Thank You

Is there really no way around updating an app to not include NSUserTrackingUsageDescription?
I'm trying to update my app to no longer include ads. When I submit it for review, it gets rejected. They claim: "App privacy information provided in App Store Connect indicates the app collects data... however, the app does not use App Tracking Transparency to request the user's permission before tracking their activity." My updated binary doesn't track ANY user data anymore (the NSUserTrackingUsageDescription key is no longer in Info.plist). You may think, "Just remove the data type in the app privacy page." Funny thing, I can't do that either because: "Your app contains NSUserTrackingUsageDescription, indicating that you will request permission to track users. You must indicate which data types are tracking users. If this is incorrect, update your app binary and upload a new build to App Store Connect." After doing some research, it turns out that App Store Connect is getting this information from the current version in the App Store. Which makes sense, but WHY would they use the current version in the App Store instead of the current updated binary? I can rebuild and upload a hundred times, but this loop is a deadlock. I have been waiting on a developer support response for a week, and this is beyond frustrating.

App preapproval?
I have designed a unique dating app in Figma and recently read that they aren't accepting apps in this category unless they are different. From my understanding, it's not possible to submit an app unless it is fully developed. I truly believe my app is different and have already received social validation in real life. Is there any way to send a video showcasing all the screen designs and what appears to be a functioning app to see if it can get preapproval? In order to not keep making a pointless investment of time and money. Thanks.

My APP was rejected due to authorization issues. I have provided the authorization documents as required, but it still failed to pass the review. I hope you can answer my questions.
Hello,  Thank you for clarification, however your app is still out of compliance with :  Guideline 5.2.1 - Legal - Intellectual Property  Your app includes content or features from GT Media, or is marketed to control external hardware from GT Media, without the necessary authorization. The inclusion of third-party content within your app, whether retrieved from the internet by the app or embedded in the app, is subject to the terms of the Apple Developer Program License Agreement.  Your app and its contents should not infringe upon the rights of another party. In the event your app infringes another party’s rights, you are responsible for any liability to Apple because of a claim.  Next Steps  To resolve this issue, please attach documentary evidence in the App Review Information section in App Store Connect. Once we have reviewed your documentation and confirmed its validity, we will proceed with the review of your app.  Alternatively, please remove the third-party content from your app and its metadata.  I received the above email and asked for the authorized files to be attached. My APP still failed to pass the review. I don’t know why. Can anyone guide me?

UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities key issue in App Review
I am getting rejection from apple review team for UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities. Here is the rejection message -- The UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities key in the Info.plist is set in such a way that the app will not install on iPad or iPhone . Next Steps To resolve this issue, check the UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities key to verify that it contains only the attributes required for the app features or the attributes that must not be present on the device. Attributes specified by a dictionary should be set to true if they are required and false if they must not be present on the device. In our case we don't have UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities key in info.plist. Even if you create new project in Xcode 15.4 then it doesn't have this key. I tried to add that key forcefully with armv7 or camera details. But app is keep getting rejected. Anyone faced the issue for this?

Will users have to purchase my app twice?
Dear Apple & Community, Sorry if this was asked already, but I couldn't find any concrete or up to date answers, this is my first time around. I developed an App for both iOS and MacOS. They are on separate deploys (i.e. it is not cross compatible), but the same software nonetheless. I would like that those who purchased it for iOS also get it for MacOS anad vice-versa. Is that possible? Is that out of the box or should I do anything extra in the App Store Connect or in the Deployment? Thanks and best regards Saif

mTFT pbe TestFlight app gone, and i have invites on updates
Hello i have problem with TestFlight app named TFT / Teamfight Tactics by Riot i had acsess to it for a while , now it is gone when i updated it to normal version but i still get updates on never vesions by Riot on testflight on my primary mail account, is there an option to enable the app again because i cannot get a new code and im still in developer program?

App Removal - Appeal Hasn't Receive Any Update
Our application is a new app for multifinance in Indonesia and we got remove on 4th. It was stated we have violated 3.2(f) and 5.6.2 Has submit appeal separately on 5th, 12th and 23rd to clarify on the issue and we haven't received any updates yet Kind of anxious here cause it was also mentioned that within 30 days our account will be terminated. Any suggestion on this issue how should we do next step?

Subscription was rejected more as 3 times
I have created an app with one subscription for one year. The subscriptions was rejected for more as 3 time. But I don't know, what I must do. No description or no email from apple. Only I can see "developer action is needed". I have changed the name of the subscription group, I have changed the localization. but also it was rejected. I have resubmitted an app version with text, that the subscription to checked. but the app was distributed only the subscription. the text was ignored. now the state for the group localization is in waiting for review. but, the subscription under the subscription group is approved. what can I do?

Dynamic Loading Javascript
Hi, Is it possible to publish an app to the app store which has functionality to download a javascript package that handles UI? I want to have an application that uses a framework such as Capacitor to dynamically download and load a javascript package and to provide updates for bug fixes and improvements on a regular basis. 4.1.0 Guideline documentation
Hello, I am creating a database type app that deals with a game called Monstronomy. I am an owner of the company (Dolphin Horizon Games) that created Monstronomy but I am working under an individual apple developer account. I am trying to get this app to the App Store and have had some issues with third party rights and proving that I have the rights to produce this app. I have submitted a IP license agreement that has been signed by me and the CEO of the company and I have also submitted email transcripts between me and the owner of the company telling me that I have the rights to produce my app with its name and imagery from the game Monstronomy. These both have been rejected and not sufficient enough to prove that I have the rights. I replied to the apple review message and have yet to get a reply. What documentation is sufficient to prove that I have the necessary rights to the game and all of its assets? Thank you for your help.

How to resolve "ITMS-90129: The bundle uses a bundle name or display name that is already taken" for new builds of the same app
This error is reaction on new build created and uploaded to AppStore with new project but same bundleId/displayName/signingInfo. Here is the scenario with symbolic values to explain it better: Build #1 (Version 1.0) project: P1 Bundle id: com.some.app Display name: My App Signing info: TeamX, CertificateX (automatic signing) I had to move the app to new project with completely new targets/configs/sources but same app metadata. Build #2 (Version 1.0) project: P2 (new) Bundle id: com.some.app Display name: My App Signing info: TeamX, CertificateX (automatic signing) So you can see that all is changed but the important app metadata (BundleId, DisplayName, Signing info) remained the same. Yet the upload of build 2 results with: ITMS-90129: The bundle uses a bundle name or display name that is already taken Note that the Build #2 showed in "AppStoreConnect / TestFlight / iOS Builds / Version 1.0" for a few seconds as "Processing" but than disapeared with the error. Thus Apple tries to add the new build #2 it to proper application version but than for some reason it thinks that Build #1 and #2 comes from different applications. Any thoughts why?
