Run a test
Before starting a test, ensure all metadata is approved by App Review for distribution on the App Store. If approval is pending, the metadata will be included in a new submission for review. If a submission for that platform is already under review, you must wait for its completion before submitting the test metadata.
Required role: Account Holder, Admin, App Manager, or Marketing. View role permissions.
Start a test
-
In Apps, select the app you want to view.
-
In the left sidebar, click Product Page Optimization.
-
Click the name of the test you want to start.
-
On the top right, click Start Test. The test status automatically updates to Running and shows how long the test has been live. If you click Start Test before submitting your metadata for review, the test status will change once the metadata is accepted by App Review.
-
Your test will run for 90 days or until you manually stop it within that time. Test results appear in App Analytics. Learn how to view product page optimization results.
Manually stop a test
-
In Apps, select the app you want to view.
-
In the left sidebar, click Product Page Optimization.
-
Click the name of the test you want to stop.
-
On the top right, click Stop Test. Once you stop a test, it can't be restarted. You’ll need to create a new test with the same treatments and run it again.
