When my app opens by clicking the icon, it shows the iPad Passcode screen after Splash Screen. On entering the pin, my app got crashed. Why Ipad Passcode screen comes after Splash screen? Is that because of MDM settings? to access enterprise application inside iPad, does it require user permission? Noticed: When iPad Passcode Screen Comes, My App goes background &amp; it won't come again after iPad Passcode screen goes.

I would like to introduce by saying this is one of the things we need as users to use our devices in a good way. This can help fix issue. This allows for more uses for the devices. also would like a all desktop mode safar where I actually get the proper desktop websites on my devices. You know what I am talking about. some websites have mobile or desktop versions and some don’t and where it doesn’t have it. The platform safari is trying to push it into a mobile site making the website broken in functionality

So in the WWDC24 session What's new in App Store Connect a new Apple Developer Enterprise Program API is briefly mentioned at the end of the talk. But there seems to be no other mention of it and would like to know more so that we perhaps can retire some rather not nice ways of automating Enterprise stuff :)

We currently have an Enterprise Developer account and find it a challenge to manage devices, profiles, and so on in an automated fashion. I am curious to understand if an API interface, similar to App Store Connect API is available - for Enterprise. There is no option in the Enterprise 'Users and Access' tab to manage or create API keys, like there is in a regular Apple Developer Account. An API would greatly simplify much of our processes. We currently use Fastlane Spaceship to manage automated/scripted tasks around this, like adding new devices, adding devices to profiles, and so on. We manage in the order of 70 provisioning profiles, so, it may be appreciated that adding even one device to that many profiles is not something you want do manually via the web interface - you script it - so we use Fastlane. The issue is that Fastlane Spaceship uses a 'workround' that basically emulates a user web session, and so requires re-authentication when user session expires, and also requires re-authentication by 2FA when AppleID session expires each month. This is no good for scripted automation on a server, as user interaction is then required. So, I guess this is a request, or an insight as to whether or not API functionality, via API keys is coming soon to Enterprise, or never coming, or if there is some other mechanism we can use - or do we just stick with fastlane? We have looked at Custom Apps, but don't think that fits our needs, as the apps we build hit internal test systems, which are not publicly accessible, and so not available for App Store review teams, as our understanding is that Custom apps must still pass App Store review and TestFlight review. My organization currently has an Enterprise account that we've been using for awhile. We now have an app that needs to be released to the public App Store, so need a regular Developer Account. This account should be tied to our organization, not to a specific person (just like our enterprise account). Is there a way to add the developer account to our existing enterprise account? Or does it need to be a new account? And if it's a new account, how do we get it tied to the same organization and manager (we have a person authorized to manage this stuff, but he's already the account holder on our enterprise account).

I am not able to remove the Activation Lock through MDM. I enabled the activation lock via https://mdmenrollment.apple.com/device/activationlock My device is listed in the ABM portal and i used the provided snippet here to generate the bypass code. I am getting the SUCCESS response of the above API and the activation lock also got enabled. But while removing the above activation lock via https://deviceservices-external.apple.com/deviceservicesworkers/escrowKeyUnlock and using the same escrow key that I used in the above api while activating the lock. I got the following error everytime <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><ns:escrowKeyDeviceServicesResponse version="1" xmlns:ns="http://www.apple.com/cds/mdmescrowKeyDeviceServices/xml"><error code="1002" message="com.apple.cds.cyclops.mdm.MDMServiceException: Escrow key mismatch"/></ns:escrowKeyDeviceServicesResponse> Though this API of clearing the activation lock works perfectly fine when I enable the user-initiated activation lock, by enabling the Find My in the device. And use the bypass code as escrow_key that we receive from the device via device querry command.

Hello, everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm facing an unfortunate issue with my Apple Developer Program membership that was suddenly terminated. I received a generic email from Apple, stating that my membership was revoked, but no specific reason was provided for this action. I appealed the decision, offering all possible explanations and commitments to adhere to guidelines, only to be met with a reply stating that the decision is "final" and no subsequent appeals will be processed. Has anyone here faced a similar situation? Are there any steps that can be taken to understand the reason for termination when Apple doesn't disclose it? Is there a way to open a dialogue with Apple, even when they've stated that their decision is final? Would publicizing this issue through social media or blogs be advisable? This is a particularly trying time for us, as we are recovering from a recent earthquake and our app is our sole source of income. Is there a way to check in code if a device is under Mobile Device Management? We want to show the users a different screen in the app if it is under device management. This is primarily for devices under Apple School Manager or something similar

For the past 2+ years I have been using the same process/code to enable and disabling/clearing activation lock from a device and since last week trying to clear the code is returning a 404 error response: <head> <title>404 Not Found</title> </head> <body> <center> <h1>404 Not Found</h1> </center> <hr> <center>Apple</center> </body> </html> I can confirm that the request looks ok and all the necessary params are being sent as expected.

We use Jenkins as the Devops CI/CD tool at our company, and in Macos/Apple/iOS development, we use a lot of Mac Mini devices. Since we build/compilers on a project-based, version-based basis, we cannot get 100% efficiency from our devices. (For example, because the dependencies of a project are different from other projects; we dedicate only 1 Mac Mini to that project. (As the dependecys of the projects are too many and large, the migration process is very difficult for us, the cost of moving to a lower-level Mac Mini device is high / but this is just an example)) While researching, I saw that there is no docker container image for MacOs X (enterprise or legal) and I know about the Apple EULA. (For virtualization, Apple hardware must be used as a basis. Because the MacOs system is paid for on a device-based basis.) What I want to ask here is can I find or create a MacOs docker container image legally? How is the structure of other companies in their CI processes? If I install MacOs with more than one VMware/VirtualBox on Mac Mini, What harm could it do me in Jenkins? (I'm curious about people's comments on this.)
